An old school friend contacted me - last seen him over 50 years ago !!

here is us in a school play; me the tall one - mick brooks - on the right

detail from the medal record card that we found in the archives - it shows C E Brooks (his grandad) should have the three medals pip squeek and wilfred - the other medals are either lost or in the hands of other relatives so mick decided just to frame what was original .

as i've said before - lets not forget- micks grandad is more than a medal record card and a bronze plaque - he's a hero - say no more !
