issue with administrator

Post by davyframer »

perhaps the administrator would care to share with the other forum members why he is refusing to carry out a request that has been emailed to him by a former member in that all posts and information is to be removed from this forum immediately.

and do you have any connection

seems like a very odd thing to do as your first post?

normally people introduce themseleves before picking a fight with the owner of the forum

While it may be honourable to defend your friend as you see fit, surely it is not going to help their health to have any disagreements made so public? This wasn't even posted in members only!

In my opinion this sort of thing should be left to PMs and kept between the associated people.

Perhaps you would like to tell forum members who you really are!

Forum administrators and moderators can tell when any member has the same IP address as another.

We can determine the registered identity of the owner of that IP address from the relevent ISP, with just one click of the mouse.

Also, in case you are thinking of using a proxy server, we can identify proxy server users, by virture of the fact they are using a proxy server.

Maybe you or your 'friend' should give the administrator a phone call to talk about it.
From what you are saying your 'friend' is going through a rough time and a friendly call to the admin explaining his situation might make the difference between getting the result you want and not.

Its easy to throw mud from behind a computer screen.

The rules of the forum are simple..... 1. be nice 2. If you can't be nice, see rule 1.

Follow these rules and you’ll not have a problem.

Hi Kev,

That's O.K. I don't think that problem will happen again.

There's no hiding from the truth, here or anywhere else, but that's life!
