As my mobile phone has an IQ in the single digit range, I'm hoping that someone with a more cleverly endowed instrument can answer this:
Can smartphones upload images directly to the forum?

Re: Smartphone Uploads
Hi John, my extremely smart smartphone can upload a photo from it in the same way I would do it on the computer.
The smartphone gives me the exact same site, just with smaller writing.

Re: Smartphone Uploads
Many thanks for that feedback, pramsay13.
Is your an Android phone?
Just to clear something up, are you saying that you can select an image from on your phone, and upload it directly TO the forum?

Re: Smartphone Uploads
Hi John
If I try to upload a picture on my iPad or iPhone, it does not give me the option to "choose file"
Don't know if it can be done with copy and paste? But I will use the laptop if I want to add a picture

Yes it's an android phone and yes I can upload directly.
Here's a completely irrelevant photo from my phone.

Re: Smartphone Uploads
Thanks for the demo pramsay13.
Looks like you have a pretty decent camera on that smartphone.

Yup, it's 8mp. Not sure if the iphone makes things trickier, but I find my android phone can do pretty much anything you can do on a normal computer, just with a smaller screen.
