I always use interparcel.com which are an online agent they use all the usually suspects, but I find as long as it is packaged well I don't have many problems.

ParcelMonkey.co.uk are fairly good too. Although they have just put their prices up by 20%!!! depending on size Interparcel are cheaper than PM so I use both.
City-Link managed to break a frame the other day though... and I pack really well.
Trouble is nothing would be covered for their extra insurance... glass, art, etc.. so you takes your chance. Never had anything arrive damaged before

Can highly recommend Aardvark Art Services. They are not cheap so you’d need to pass on the costs to your customer, but their service is very professional and frames with glass no problem.

That's great! What's the recommended way to pack frames - both with and without glass? Any suggestions on best place to get packing materials too would be much appreciated.
Thanks again everyone

I would endorse Aardvark too. (They never hurt anybody.

Sorry).
Their prices are quite reasonable if the value of the shipment is significant.
They are specialists in shifting valuable paintings so they know how to handle frames. They don't chuck them in a lorry and pile stuff on top.

Parcel Monkey are who we use - made the mistake of using UPS twice, what a nightmare. Granted we don't send fragile items via Parcel Monkey but they haven't lost anything and their system is quick and easy to use. We couldn't even get a copy invoice for 3 months from UPS - total pain.
