Nice frame! A shame about the sock! :giggle:

I like the effect of the two tone slips. Smart idea!

Nice one, is there a story about the sock, especially coming from walking country.

A great job David, can you explain how you made the "tray" that the sock sits in?

Many thanks.

Nice work!

My latest tin of Liberon neutral wax is blue (the tin, not the stuff inside)! Hate it when manufacturers make big changes like that.

It's a coved box design (or tapered box) see this topic: http://theframersforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4156
I cut mine by hand.

There is more than one way to create depth in a frame and I know that this method is not to everyone's liking, but I like it! I first got to know about this method from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAceyYn5 ... ure=relmfu there are 4 videos in total.

(BTW, can anyone tell me how to embed a youtube video into a post?)

The box has an middle, inner and outer layer. More photos:

In hindsight, I think I'll keep some brown picture cord in stock for furture jobs!

you could stain the cord.

Sure! Copy the youtube link - for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTH0Ls91 ... ults_video

Then, click the youtube button above the reply box to get this [.youtube][/youtube]

Delete all up to and including the equals symbol in the youtube link and cut and paste what's left between the two sets of square brackets, do a preview before submitting.

This is the full URL of the YouTube clip
[code]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTH0Ls91 ... ults_video[/code]

Remove everything up to ind including the first = (equals sign)
zTH0Ls91Z6s&playnext=1&list=PLC2F298F22E38727D&feature=results_video

Then remove everything from, and including, the first & (ampersand) to the end
zTH0Ls91Z6s

Highlight this and click the [youtube] button and you'll have embedded the video clip.
[youtube]zTH0Ls91Z6s[/youtube]

Watch out though, test first with [Preview], as not all YouTube videos can be embedded.

Using Roboframer's example:-

Code: Select all

[youtube]zTH0Ls91Z6s[/youtube]
The above line embeds this video on the forum:
[youtube]zTH0Ls91Z6s[/youtube]

Whoa! I didn't know about that highlighting thing 8) But it seems to work with or without deleting the ampersand and all after???

The highlight thing works with most of the BBCode buttons ([URL], [Img], etc)

Stripping the baggage that comes after the ampersand (that includes some information about your YouTube activities) is of course optional.
