Old Lady For Sale

Post by strokebloke »

A grand old lady, in superb condition (a bit flakey on the cosmetics, admittedly; but ....) who earns her corn.
She really is in superb condition for her age. Just had her MoT and ready to go for another 50 years.
I've found myself a smart young thing, with all of the bits and pieces, so I'm afraid the matriach is going to have to go to make room for her.
Sad - but that's life.
Open to sensible offers of £400 or above.
Depending upon what's offered, there may be a spare set of parts included

(if you require any other saucy pics I have another 5 :giggle: )

Oh, BTW, because of her age she refuses to travel on any form of public transport, so I'm afraid you'll have to collect her and chauffeur her home. Sorry, but she is a bit overweight.

She looks better than mine. :D Deep rebate supports and still another notch to go on her pedal return springs.

She has done me proud Peter.
50 years old in June, just gone - according to the serial number.
Imperial, but I don't have a problem with that. I'm 65, I was weaned on imperial. In fact I'd finished my apprenticeship and was at Sheffield uni by the time GB officially changed to metric. And a lot of the 'art' world still operates imperial. Photo sizes, stretcher bars, canvases, mount cutters.
The one I'm going to collect on Wednesday is just too good to miss.
It's pristine and at a silly price, for it's condition.
If the old lady doesn't go, I might sell the new one and double my money

Why have you got a halogen lamp attached to the measuring arm? :giggle:

What sort of question is that? Haven't you got a halogen lamp welded to your Morso? :Slap:
It's the only way I can see the numbers on the right hand arm. :giggle:

No safety guard, pedal not locked down...
The health and safety brigade would have a field day.

There is no provision for safety guards on this old dear.
It performs on the principle that if the operator is competent and capable, the only item which will get mitred is the framing section.
The pedal is locked down - part way. In the same manner that a modern machine locks.
