Here's a hand finished frame which the customer collected earlier today. The moulding is Simons VIC-01 (recently discontinued) finished in one of the Rose & Hollis earth pigment paints over Craig & Rose 1829 acrylic emulsion, then distressed, waxed with a grungey wax (to enhance the apparent age) and sealed with a matt acrylic protective sealant.

The original petition is kept in the House of Lords and this is only a reproduction taken from the original for public display in Moreton Hampstead on Dartmoor. The colours on the frame match the paper and ink colours on the petition.

The odd looking reflection at the top of the petition is the reflection of the diffuser on one of my flourescent lights.
