Picking a company name

Hello All,
I need to come up with a company name but how do I know which ones are taken?

Hi Adam,
Companies House, google and check if the domain name is available.
Best place to start is see if the domain name is available for your ideas for names.
Companies will only list companies and not sole trading businesses.
Use google to make sure you don't copy any sole traders.

The type in any company name
( BTW for only £1.00 you can get any ltd co. annual accounts - pay by CC
Great value - quite amazing how much info companies are obliged to declare )

Make a short list of names, I would include the words Picture, Framing (well that is if you want to do Picture Framing) maybe include the locality, Huntingdon (looks like I cracked it)
Then as the other posters have said, next step Companies House, do a search there, then Google the names and see what turns up.
