Examples here of how we have framed some oils for this show.

Its 12mm ply cut on CNC router to produce thick bevel and closed corners, this then has several coats of gesso. The ply board is then capped with either a painted or limed frame depending on the picture.

I wouldn't want to cut the aperture by hand, though. Do you cut them in-house?

Thanks John, just got back from the private view where they were very well received as well.

We out source the work to a firm with a cnc router, they are far more accurate than you could ever possibly hope to achieve by hand!
