Morso maintenance

Hi, I have an old Morso that could do with a good check and maybe a few new parts. Does anybody know of anyone in the Rep. of Ireland that services Morsos and would be able to do this for me?

In the market for a new 48" matcutter but not sure if I should go for a Keencut or Fletcher. Would be glad of any advise.

Re: Chips in gesso

Thanks very much. I should have tested the moulding before I stocked it. I won't be buying it again.

Chips in gesso

Would be grateful if somebody could give me some advise on repairing chips in gesso, what to use etc., The frame that I am trying to repair is cream coloured and the chips are at the corners caused by the Morso cutting.

Fully serviced Morso blades

Just replaced my Moros blades with a set that came back from Lion that they said were fully serviced but they are not exactly the same width. One is about 1 to 2mm narrower. Will this effect the cut (I have only cut narrow mouldings so far). Has anybody had this problem before and if so did Lion do ...

Re: Framing a Jigsaw

Did a 5' x 3' jigsaw last week. Used a flat bed press and DMT to mount it onto foamboard. This did an great job. I would suggest that you try and find somebody nearby with a press that knows how to mount it in bites.

Tacking iron

Hi, my tacking iron no longer works and I have a lot of mounting to do and cannot wait for the replacement. I was going to use Pritt Stick as an interm method of tacking but I notice on the Lion website that it says not to do this if using foamboard. I was going to tack posters to foamboard so does ...

Morso blade sharpening

Who in Ireland sharpens morso blades. Is it better to send them to Lion and if so is it okay to send them through the post internationally ?

Grateful of any info.

Re: Morso Pneumatic, Morso F, Keencut Ultimat 60" , CS89

Hi,
I cannot believe this, I have just posted that I cannot find a Morso in Ireland ! Could I have a few more details about the foot operated one. I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean about the measuring arm.
