taurus underpinner/bambi help-which models?

I've just picked up a Taurus Underpinner and an old Bambi air compressor. I'm new to this set-up and could do with a few tips. Can anyone identify the models from the pics(I will try and find PDFs of the manuals)? Are there any bits obviously missing? Any good basic advice setting them up/connection...

Fletcher 7554 cutting machine,any info?

I've just picked up a Fletcher 7554 heavy duty plastic/glass cutter for a song. I think it's pretty old. Does anyone have any info on these machines(or a manual would be even better). I'm new to this kind of cutter. I'm presuming that parts for this are no longer available. Does it also work as a bo...

Re: Picture frame moulding - assorted lots - Bargain!!

Hello,I'm interested in the plain black and natural wood mouldings. Do you still have them?
Any chance of some pics?
I'm out of town until Monday 30th but maybe could have a look at the start of Feb.

Cheers Johnny.

Air compressor advice needed

I've just got myself a used Taurus underpinner. It says 150 PSI(10 bar)max air pressure on the side.
Is there any particular air compressors I should avoid?
There is a used Bambi 150/500 compressor for sale online.Would this be suitable?
Thanks,Johnny.

Keencut Mount Cutters advise wanted

Does anyone know how the Keencut Advanced Rotary cutter compares to the more expensive Ultimat Gold?
I'm looking for a sturdy professional cutter with a limited budget.

Re: Perspex questions

I can't use standard float glass for safety reasons so it's got to be safety glass or some kind of plastic. I'm trying to find the best value I can. Some of the safety glass quotes have been reasonable but I thought plastics may be better value(and lighter).I've searched online and made some calls bu...

Perspex questions

I'm framing quite a few pictures for a cruise ship corridor(public area).I think I'm going to go with plastic over safety glass. The frames are 1200mm x 500mm(outside measurements). Is the thickness of the plastic an issue? Also,as it's a public area, maybe scratch resistant plastic glass would be the...

perspex/safety glass questions

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the different types of perspex available for framing?
I'm framing art for a cruise ship and having had a look at safety glass,it seems that perspex would be a better way to go
(cost,weight etc).Cheers,Johnny.

Searching for contract framers for large runs

Can anyone suggest good value contract framers for large runs?I am looking for the best quotes for hundreds(maybe 1000's)of pictures for a cruise ship.I have been searching online and sending out quote requests but the sheer volume of U.K. framers out there makes it a bit tricky. Anything from searc...
