Epoxy resin rare earth magnets to your machines, for a handy place to keep the spanners you use on that machine!

Re: Underpinner (and other machinery) Hacks
I have a set of these on my Morso. I've never seen them on anyone else's machine or even heard mention of them on my travels. I fitted them myself and are a gen Morso accessory. I had to drill the block to fit them but I think later machines had pre-drilled holes. They keep the rebate supports at a...

Re: Airlines in the workshop
We have a couple of 24l noisy compressors that I have linked together and set so they come on at slightly different times that live in the cellar, so if only one air tool is being used then just the one kicks in, when we run the saw and other stuff together, they both kick in, piping goes up through...

Almost 3 times as long as this thread has been going, although I only frame the odd piece theses days, to keep my eye in so to speak.

Only you know that, if you have the spare time to do it and it won't impact on your other income streams then go for it.
It wouldn't be cost effective for us based on what I have just said.

Re: Glass on artwork?
That sounds like an awful lot of work to frame a cheap low cost item there Mark I usually add a backing undermount and hinge the poster to that by folding paper strips over the top of the under mount and attaching them on the rear, this supports the poster from the top, stopping it from sagging, per...

Re: Stacked Frames
you can also "stack" multiple mouldings to create extra depth for item framing, this was 3 mouldings stacked to make a 5" rebate depth, because a large box stuck out the back of the frame would look unsightly, plus the fact I was getting board of paperwork and wanted to do something c...

There is a shortage of wood world wide, there are many reasons why, one of them being the vast amount of wood we have lost due to forest fires over the past few years!

Re: Morso blade retaining bolt size.
If they are the size I suggested I can get 5 for the half price of 1 of the ones you suggest and machine the head down to the correct thickness in my lathe and have spares. Any idea if the thread type? Really, that sounds like a proper good deal, you could perhaps machine the heads down on the othe...

Re: Keeping warm in the workshop, while conserving heating.
Mine is the iheat one, it will keep me warm all day, but I only put it on for 20 mins at a time or I will over heat, I think it will go continuously for 8 hours on the low heat setting, you can buy an extra battery so I guess that is a moot point, aI have never needed to swap out the battery though....
