Split Morso blade
Has anyone seen this happen to a Morso blade. It was being used by one of our team on a Morso EH and the time. Supposedly just cutting a piece of pine!

Yep, we had that happen to a blade a few months ago. They'd only been through one sharpening before it happened and were fairly fresh onto the Morso at the time. We'd bought them from Simons so after a quick call to Joe in Machinery a replacement pair were with us the next day with a full credit on the damaged pair.

I had that once 15 or so years ago, cutting pine, hit a knot as hard as glass, Bob's your uncle and Pat's your aunt.

Re: Split Morso blade
There was a problem with one batch of blades made August last year, date stamp on the blades was 0815. It only affected the right hand blade. Contact your supplier for a replacement set.
