Morso blade sharpening
Which company do you use for sharpening, and are you happy with the results? I did a search here, but some of the recommendations are now slightly dated so I thought I'd ask to see what's currently available in the UK.

Mainline are top-rank.
I use Wessex more-or-less because I can put them on the van. They do a good job.

We use Mainline, they seem to have the edge on the others.

Mainline for me too, I believe their blade sharpening machine is actually manufactured by Morso.
Problem with Wessex and Centrado is you are likely to have a good couple of weeks delay before your blades re-appear, Mainline usually turn round the same week.

Mainline for us too - so easy to book them in online, then they are collected and delivered back to you. Postage is a cost factor which you have to take into account and so we tend to send 3 sets at a time which makes it more economical. Very quick turnaround and superb service.
No experience of Lion or Centrado for blade sharpening so can't help on that and we haven't used the Wessex service for many, many years since swapping to Mainline.

Re: Morso blade sharpening
I use a local framing supplier to me, collect by van and delivered back the next week, very pleased with them, no real help to the OP,

Re: Morso blade sharpening
Wow - Mainline seems to be the overwhelming choice. Trouble is, their headline price of 'from' £13.50 comes out close to £37 with return shipping and VAT, which on a single set of blades gets quite expensive. Maybe that's what I've got to pay. Has anyone got experience of AJ Framing in Canvey Island, Essex?
Re: Morso blade sharpening
The Mainline setup for collecting/delivering blades is very convenient and well worth the money IMHO.
They are heavy things so carriage is bound to be a tad pricey.
If you have a regular delivery from Wessex then it's even more convenient.
