I heard yesterday that John Jones are ceasing to trade in the middle of February. Anyone else heard this? I can't find anything online about it beyond a forum post.
A bit surprising though. Surely they're not feeling the squeeze?

I was told about that a while ago by a customer who wanted my to take on a big job, but it was during the period while I was without a shop and as he has a home in Devon and a home in London, he took it to John Jones. He was tipped of to recover his job before he lost the chance.
I was surprised to hear of the demise of such a well known and respected company in this business. Very sad news.
