Lion bench end guillotine clamp pressure

Hello! I'm hoping I have come to the right place for some help/advice. I've been given a Lion Bench End Guillotine. My understanding is that is has been recently reconditioned, however it seems that there is insufficient clamp pressure at the end with the cam operated lever. I've been in touch with Lion with little success.
Can anyone help by providing a photograph of the whole assembly at the pivoting end, in case there is a screw, spring missing?
I understood that I should be able to cut small amounts i.e. 5 sheets of 180 gsm paper and for it to be held in place. This doesn't happen - when I cut sheets of paper, there is movement and slippage, so the pressure bar doesn't seem to have enough tension. Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Hello Vintage Frames, many thanks for your reply. I have seen the install instructions and everything looks ok (photos attached) If I put a piece of 2mm greyboard at the front end, between the arms of the clamping lever before depressing the handle, the pressure is even all the way along. I'm thinking I may try and tighten the bolt underneath the spring a the front of the lever. Is this a tensioning bolt?

Full confession here - I've never used or seen one of these.
However, what seems to be the problem is that you have insufficient clamp pressure up at the handle end of the clamp.
So, looking at the Lion photo, the black bolt end (just below the operator's wrist) would be the obvious place to see some adjustment. Either there or at its other end beneath the table.
You want to move the top arm of the clamp closer to the bottom bar so that the cam produces more pressure.
