Any one know what is going wrong here.
Took this picture with the camera attached to our visualisation programme. Tried all the usual switch off and on again restart computer etc. Still the same.
Is the sensor bu****ed?
Thanks - John.

Re: Camera Troubles
Take the camera down and test if the in-camera pictures are the same.
If not, perhaps it's a USB problem.

Re: Camera Troubles
Yes they are the same, already tried that when doing the switch off/on etc.
Will perhaps try a different USB cable though but it wll have to wait now as off on holiday for a week.
Thanks.

Re: Camera Troubles
Looks like the camera has given up, changing USB cable will make no difference.Jonny2morsos wrote:Yes they are the same

Re: Camera Troubles
Probably won't do any good, but before you trot off and buy a new camera try reseating the memory card? Nothing to lose...

Re: Camera Troubles
There has been talk of some cameras producing horizontal banding when using long exposure times while the ISO setting is pushed to the max.
It might be worth experimenting with short shutter speeds combined with stronger lighting.
Just a shot in the dark.
