VA Grade Perspex

Hi,

I am trying to source a piece of VA Grade Perspex size of around 270x93cm

I have had quote of 270+ VAT for 4mm and 235+ VAT for 3mm.

My questions are.

a) have any of your used VA Grade Perspex before?

b) Any tips on where to source it?

Google it - plenty of suppliers.

Anyone know how this compares to any of Glass & Mirror's UV filtering acrylic - quality/price?

Hi, i had done, had quotes from 279+vat down to 75+vat which seems a big price difference.

G &M initially said they could not supply in that size accept the 3.5k a sheet 6mm tru vue, then they came back with a 3mm uv filter acryilic @ 112+vat

I was surprised g &m dont sell it.

Perspex is just another trade name - so G&M do sell it, they just don't call it perspex.

I don't think 3mm is thick enough for almost 3 metres long though and as you say, you wouldn't want the 6mm TruVu Optium acrylic!

I know G & M sell acrylic sheets but they did not have them big enough, but they had to go to another supplier to get UV filter in that size, and I am waiting on knowing if they can supply "Perspex® VA Grade"
