Mouldings

Post by barton »

Hi.

Bar Frinton (Excellent IMHO) and private view, do you know of any suppliers of high end/niche mouldings based in the UK?

They don't have to be swept/traditional, just interested in finding more unusual mouldings they the main few distributors have

THanks Liam

Well maybe some of the main distributors are worth a mention as nobody deals with them all.

The Nieslen 'exclusive' range is very nice. Nielsen own a company called Nurre Caxton and a lot of that is from them.

Arqadia have a range of gilded (etc) mouldings - forget the name of the range - front of the catalogue anyway, and then they distribute Larson Juhl, which I really like as most LJ ranges have a matching mount slip - no-one else does that in such a big way, in fact it's only played at by a few.

Ashworth & Thompson have a lovely range of gilded closed corner frames - not ornate/swept. But that's joined frames of course; not mouldings.

Then there's Enrique Lopez - http://www.lopezmold.com/ Never dealt with them; not sure if they do a gilded range or not. But they've been mentioned here before - a few members deal with them and can advise.

Hi.

Spoke to Nielsen before xmas and just got their catalogues, I will check out the 'exclusive' range.

We carry 90% of LJ mouldings and I really do like them a lot.

Thanks or the Enrique Lopez link I will take a look. And I will check out Byron too.

Thanks Liam
