Dry mount press
I am about to aquire, among other things, a 25" square dry mount press. It is green, with a big wheel on top for raising and lowering the plate. Can anyone tell me, roughly how much this will weigh?

Re: Dry mount press
I did a Google search and found a Grumble Thread that said 250 lbs - surely not, that's 17 stone!
Anyway - a great excuse for an employee (27 yrs old and 6'2") to have a week off with a bad back after helping me out of the car with it and carrying it 5 feet - after the middle-aged framer I bought it from and I lifted it up two flights of stairs and 50 yards down the road to the closest place I could park.

Thank you all, that is the information I need. Roboframer, the latest advice from the medical world is that if you have a bad back don't take time off, just keep on as normal and it'll get better quicker!
