WANTED DEEP REBATE MOULDING
Can anyone help. I am trying to source a deep rebate moulding with the following specs... Colour smooth white.. 20mm Flat 45mm deep leaving a rebate depth of 35mm. I will need it in box qtys.
Re: WANTED DEEP REBATE MOULDING
Simons K/0400 an d K/0442 Not shure what the finish is like though. Arqadia 233127000 may be a little deep though also 23510200 may not be deep enough. Also Lion L1192 again probably not deep enough.

Re: WANTED DEEP REBATE MOULDING
Finton do a nice one with a double rebate their moulding ref 1947
Here is a link but it may only work if you have an account with them:
http://www.frintonmouldings.com/iqs/cpt ... dings.html
The second rebate will take the back board.
Only trouble is it is a bit pricey.

Its really kind of you to take the time to help , your right it is a bit on the pricey side. I have been framing for 37 years now but finding this one has had me stumped. Thanks again..... Dave the frame

Re: WANTED DEEP REBATE MOULDING
Have you tried Ashworth & Thompson? They sometimes do runs of mouldings for contract customers which are not in their catalogue
Fixed me up with some deep rebate moulding in pink at one time.

Re: WANTED DEEP REBATE MOULDING
I find 233127000 a nightmare to cut on the Morso, lots of breakout.
Wessex do one c2139. They also do it in chop, so no waste

Re: WANTED DEEP REBATE MOULDING
Here's two new additions from Simons, so new they never made it in to the new catalogue .... !
The first is bang on the sizes you specify but has a filled grain surface; for the quantity you want it will be around 40p per ft. The second is slightly shallower but has a smooth finish (and I cut the reference no out - sorry)
There's more like this, just not in the catalogue.
