Arqadia Pack Quantities

Post by Pharos Framing »

I have just got my Arqadia moulding catalogue and am about to put in my first order with them.

I was just wondering how many lengths there might be in a pack? I realise this will vary between mouldings, but I just wanted to get a rough idea of how large a 'pack' of moulding might be (as opposed to a 'box' quantity!). Am I looking at 5 lengths, 10, 20.....?? :?

I did look at all the small print, but couldn't see an answer to my question.

If someone could enlighten me please it would be much appreciated. :)

Go to their website enter the moulding number in the search boxes without spaces (eg 445227000 not 445 227 000)and you will see the pack quantity when you click more information

If you have an account number have registered and logged in the the price will also be displayed as well as the quantity in stock.

Online ordering is the way to go as you only have to spend £95 for free delivery.

If I order befor 12.00 it arrives with me the next day but I am closer to them than you.

Hi Eric,

I place all my Arqadia orders online, where it will tell you the number of metres/lengths per pack, and also if a moulding is in stock.

Before using the online ordering, if I needed to know how many lengths per pack, I would ask the sales ladies on the phone, they are really very helpful.

I have never managed to get my account to work, but as a rule of thumb small mouldings tend to be in 6 lengths, then 4 and then the majority are in 2 and big ones are in singles.

Actually that doesn't make sense just look online :giggle:

Any Larson Juhl moulding is available single length for a small premium, some of the larger ones are packed in single lengths too - and that's something worth checking if you order by phone anyway, I've been caught out afew times when I've assumed a 'pack' is more than one moulding and it hasn't been.

Aha!!

Just tried using the catalogue (which is handy as the pics are 'life size'!) in conjunction with the information on their website...and now it all makes sense!

Thank you all for pointing me in the right direction!

Be nice if all mouldings were if 10ft lengths. But they can be in anything from 13ft to 6ft. (Unless they are polymer) Most are between 10 and 8ft. So a 4 pack can be 32ft or 40ft or anywhere in between. And the same moulding can come in different lengths every time you order it. The usual practice if you order a certain quantity is to send the nearest they can get over that quantity without splitting a pack. Most of the time it works out OK. :)
