Fully serviced Morso blades

Post by breery »

Just replaced my Moros blades with a set that came back from Lion that they said were fully serviced but they are not exactly the same width. One is about 1 to 2mm narrower. Will this effect the cut (I have only cut narrow mouldings so far). Has anybody had this problem before and if so did Lion do anything about it. I Emailed them two days ago but have heard nothinh back so far.

If they can still be lined up at the front edge then you should have no problem. If not I would think the wider one needs to be ground to match the other. Otherwise the cut might go wonky or worse the cutter block channel might wear faster.

Thanks prospero, They line up fine at the front just that one side of the V is very slightly shorter.
