Ok, superman has just helped batman out and saying "if you need help just ask" now batman is behind superman who is looking the other way.
One of batmans tricks is to be gone without a trace when he's done talking to you, you look away look back and he's gone.
So he tries his little trick with superman, who is the ultimate super hero, he can see batman hiding behind the dumpster with his xray vision, but he thinks to himself, let him have this one, not wanting to hurt batmans feelings who is already feeling insecure because he has no super powers and superman has basically all of them.

Superman says out loud " how does he do that" even though batman is clearly visable to him, making bat man all smug and he thinks to himself, that's right I'm bat man.

Now that's what I got from it, I guess in this case pictures are not worth a thousand words.
