From my 2 year drawing course "So, you think you can't draw"?
After our final exhibition it's officially over; I'm going to miss it every Tuesday morning in the studio below the converted windmill from where you can see the Isle of Wight.
The exhibition was going to be in our village church, showcasing our work, stage-by-stage over 2 years but due to one thing and another, not least of all the fact that this is the last 2 year course our teacher will do, it was held (ends tomorrow) in the studio and showing just two pieces each, one pre-instruction (from our first day, when we had to draw 4 things, your hand, your own fizzog, a high-backed slatted oak dining chair and a big fig plant - best shot) and one finished project.
Reflections are baaaaaad - it's a bright airy studio. Photos are carp anyway!
My church door and my hand below. A pair of old boots - this silly person tossed out all her pre-instruction stuff so below the boots is something our teacher did -Nepalese market guy, I framed it (to her spec) YEARS ago - it had TIGHT CORD on the back OMG!!
Bye-bye lovely studio
