Hello all,
I've been experiencing problems with float mounted work buckling / going wavy. I'm using lineco gummed paper tape. I've tried pass through hinges, and after the paper went wavy I've tried the lion method:

The artwork seemed to be ok when I'd finished but after doubling checking I've noticed it's gone wavy. Is it possible the tape was too wet?
I'm essentially working form a garage so I wondered whether it could be damp / the cold weather rather than my method.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Paul

Re: Float Mount Buckling Problems
we did many experiments with different paper types and attachment methods in cold conditions. to cut a very long story short, it is more than likely the cold and damp causing your problems, we concluded our workshops store rooms and so on should be kept around normal room temperature.
