Hello
Perhaps a slightly unusual question. I am looking to get a Morso, but am very short of space (and the right type of space)
The Morso will be in the way, and only option I have is to bring it forward a foot or two each time I use it, then at the end of the day I will need to move it back again
I am thinking of maybe a thinnish platform with a small footprint similar to that of the Morso. It would be in an upstairs room, so would be worried if it was on castors, but maybe castors that could be retracted with a tool or whatever.
I can't find anything, and would appreciate any ideas.
Thanks, Roy
I need to move a morso each time I use it

You can get lockable castors but go for rubber wheels and not PVC as pvc slip more. Also if you are using castors buy them for their weight rating and not size, a morso is a heavy thing so you will need fairly big castors.

Why not just move the Morso? It's not very heavy and you can pull it out and push it back at will. You might want a sheet of MDF or similar to protect the floor and give you a smooth surface to slide the Morso on.

Thanks for replies
I thought it might be too heavy to slide out, but the MDF sheet idea sounds good - only trouble I suppose is that when the machine is put back there will be the MDF to trip over - but should be able to get over that
Many thanks

There are little slide pads that removal firms use. Might be worth looking into them. The MDF sliding idea would work OK, but one snag. The chippings are going to get pushed all over and will get underneath the machine causing wobblyness.

I have to do this with my morso.
And it isn't much of a problem to be honest, but you really do have to put your back into it!
I wouldn't mind making a caster thingy though. 2 x mdf blocks. Casters under them. Slid under the feeting at the time of manoeuvring a short distance.
Thanks for sparking me into thinking about doing something to make life easier.
I'd probably rather buy those gadgets in your links David, but the reviews and comments aren't tip top.
