Hi all
I have just setup a second hand minigraf 4 underpinner in the garage and it is leaking air from this part, see attached. I don't know what this part is!! But it looks like it should have a collar over it to stop the air leak? Is this right and if so where can I buy the collar/cap from?
Sorry for my stupidity any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks
Artsy Paul

Hi Paul
That is the regulator for the wedge feed cylinder, Minigraf remove the caps once they have set them to the correct pressure to stop people messing with them (there should be a dial on the other side showing what it is set to)
If you are sure the regulator is the cause of the leak then i stock an alternate brand that will replace your faulty unit it just needs fitting to your machine and the correct pressure setting to match your current setting.

Re: Alfa machine minigraf 4 air leak
Hi mark
Thanks for the info, there is a small hole on the neck of the regulator where the air is escaping from. Is the only option to replace the whole part?
Thanks

If the regulator is the issue then yes it is more cost effective to replace the complete unit as that brand of regulator is prone to failure and the plastic casing will develop cracks over time.
If you look closely at the side of your regulators beige base there are pointers moulded into the plastic showing the direction that the air flow must travel in, if your pipes have been reversed then this can also cause false air leaks so you may need to check yours are connected the right way round.
(your photo shows the left red pipe connected to the "input" and the right red pipe to the "output")
