Greeting Cards

I have been trawling the Internet to try and locate some tasteful card companys .

I felt it would help generate a few extra customers to the Gallery and workshop.

What with Christmas looming .

However all I can find are fluffy bunny type cards if you get my drift.

Any recommendations would be gratfully received.

re tasteful cards- we bought ourselves a hot foil stamping machine, full of good intentions to overstamp cards for christmas, after getting iit in for one lage job gold foiling mounts for two regiments, but still have not round to it.

We get ours from Cachet. We are in a rural location and a lot of theirs are shooting, fishing, sheepdogs, landrovers, horses, birds etc.

Don't fly off the display but good steady sellers and if you place a decent order they throw in a full size spinner. Also all the images on the cards are available as prints if required.

We do a lot of greetings cards and buy 'when and if' from the likes of the Art Group & Sally Mitchell, plus a supplier that I'd never spill that does job lots on a lot of big names at absolutely ridiculous prices!

But our main supplier is Second Nature - some very nice stuff - main ranges are handmade 3D things. You need an account to view their stuff on line but their contact details are there and if you are going to the Spring Fair, seek them out - you won't be disappointed.

We also sell card-making supplies and now and then 'the girls' have a mad card-making day or two pushing out cards from slow moving - or even specially bought in stock - mainly for Valentines day, Easter, Mothers day, etc etc - we never buy cards for those days. But also when we get low between orders on stuff like 'Get Well' etc.

A graphic designer and personal friend of mine, they are a small independant publisher that are slowly making a name for themselves. They exhibit at a lot of trade shows and did do the Spring Fair this year for the first time.
