Hi,
before I launch into my question, a very quick introduction.. I have been framing "on the side" for the last 15 years, I am just about to escape my IT job in the City to setup a home-based workshop. My previous pricing (under pricing) involved me thinking up a figure and then knocking myself down by about 20% .... not a born business man
I have been investigating the PFP software ( see Lion catalogue ) mainly because of a couple of recommendations. I realise it's a bit cheeky to ask for impartial advice on a forum sponsered by Estlite but I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has looked at PFP and eventually decided on Estlite.
Which pricing software to go for seems like the biggest decision I have to make at the moment !
Any comments welcome.

Hi Bagpuss,
Having just opened my own workshop, after working for other people for the last 20 years, I wanted to use a pricing program, after looking at most of them, I went for PFP. It is has very complex program running in the background, but the frontend is very simple, just enter the image size, chose a mount, enter the boarder size, and it will work out the finished frame size. There are five British suppliers who supply thier prices via the internet, which the program can download. The biggest drawback is you do not buy the program, but pay for a licence to use, which at the moment is £25.00 a month.
