PPFA conference and Profile Magazine Framing Show
PPFA conference and Profile Magazine Framing Show
The combined PPFA conference and Profile Magazine Framing Show in Sydney will be providing some great classes, this year. It's a shame you guys are so far away, because you would certainly be welcome to come.
If anyone is interested in checking out the education program, go to http://www.pmaaustralia.com.au/ and click the "Download the PMA 2011 Conference Program" to download a pdf. The PPFA component of the program, starting on page 2 has purple borders around each segment.
I would be interested in hearing what UK framers think of the classes listed in this program.

It will be great to have you both at the show. I'm looking forward to seeing you again Steve and to meeting you for the first time, Jim.
Anyone else want to come down?
It would be a great opportunity to mix business with a holiday and see parts of the beautiful place that some of your ancestors banished my ancestors to. Beware though, it might make you envious!

Wow!
As a matter of interest how many members does the PPFA have in Australia?

Re: PPFA conference and Profile Magazine Framing Show
PPFA Au/NZ has around 160-180 members currently.
We now offer many benefits including financial ones, which more than cover the cost of membership each year, so we expect numbers to grow as framers realise they can save money by being a member.
I save triple my annual membership fee each year just on credit card merchant fees alone.
The conference can be attended by all framing businesses. It's not just for PPFA members. Non members receive a 16 month trial membership when they pay for their education at the conference. I don't think anyone can complain about that.
